  • Description : A Delicious Baked Dessert


    1. 3/4 cups chopped walnuts or
    2. 2 large green apples
    3. 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
    4. 11/2 cup all purpose flour
    5. 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
    6. 1/4 cup brown
    7. 1tsp ground cinnamon
    8. pinch of salt
    9. 100 grams unsalted butter(softened at room temp
    10. 2 large eggs
    11. 1 tsp vanilla extract
    12. 2 tbsp milk
    13. 1/3 cups raisins


    1. Preheat oven to 180 degree.
    2. Butter the baking pan and then line with parchment paper.
    3. Roast the nuts for 8 to 10 minutes until they are light brown and fragrant. Cool it and then coarsely chop.
    4. Peel, core and chop the apples into bite sized pieces. Toss with 1-2 tbsp lemon juice.
    5. Now combine the flour , sugar , baking powder ,ground cinnamon and salt using electric mixer or hand mixer .
    6. Add melted butter ,eggs, vanilla extract and milk and beat until fully incorporated.
    7. Fold in the chopped nuts, raisins and chopped apples.
    8. Transfer the batter to the prepared bake dish and bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until light brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake should comes out clean .
    9. Remove it from oven and let it cool.
    10. Serve warm sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.
