DARK CHOCOLATE ORANGE CAKE

Every new beginning is the end of another beginning. Most of the celebrations are for a jubilant end or a fresh beginning. 2017 went away quietly as it came leaving its own marks on everyone’s lives in its own way. Teachings of the previous year will be used as experience of 2018 .Hopes, aspirations, ambitions are all sorts of desires we carry for the New Year, with intent of using all possible efforts and hard work.

What everyone would wish is to face the challenges with more vigor, laugh more than the past year, spend more time with your loved ones, appreciate more and crib less, help more and demand less, change more and stall less , as the year will pass we would realize that we always have the ability to become better than before.

All the right efforts come with the right direction which narrows down to the right first step. The first step or a first thought or a first action if positive will always yield the right desired results.  So did this dark chocolate orange cake , moist and well balanced dark chocolate and orange , the citrus flavour blends perfectly with dark chocolate and together it creates delicious treat.

My evening tea turned out really interesting accompanied with chocolate orange cake and my all time favourite novel. This melt in mouth texture with each sip of tea is really indulging. It is an anytime go cake for breakfast too. Both my girls look forward to weekend as mom can't afford to offer these rich treats on week days. But yes, many times these left over goodies is something they relish in their school tiffin (of course to impress their friends with baker mom's skills :D).

This recipe is very simple and if you love baking, then I'm pretty sure making it will be a piece of cake for you (literally :P).
