Papaya kababs. Sounds Crazy isn’t it??
As I am always inquisitive for something new and got some ideas from the web of using papaya the power fruit to make Kababs out of it. In this Recipe Raw papaya and potatoes are shredded and combine  into delicate kebabs. These are paired with pleasant plum chutney which makes it even more delicious. When served plated on table this healthy Snack is an instant hit. Papaya is loaded with nutrients, vitamins and minerals. So try this recipe and enjoy its health benefits too!!

  • Description :

Ingredients

    • 3 potatoes
    • 1 small raw papaya
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1 dozen plums
    • 2 star anise
    • 1 medium size ginger
    • 1 tsp roasted cumin
    • 1 tsp coriander seeds
    • Fresh coriander
    • Crushed peanuts
    • 2-3 tbsp gram flour (Besan)
    • 5 green chilies
    • 1 tsp black salt
    • Fresh mint

Instruction

    1. Grate peeled raw papaya and potatoes.
    2. Add salt, pinch turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix well.
    3. Keep this aside for 10 minutes and squeeze out all the water.
    4. Add chopped ginger, green chilies, roasted cumin seeds, coriander seeds, crushed peanuts and besan
    5. Mix well, roll into balls.
    6. Add oil in a pan, allow to heat properly.
    7. Now fry kebabs till golden brown and caramelized on both sides.
    8. For chutney
    9. Cut plums, add sugar, star anise & let it cook on a low flame, covered with a lid.
    10. After its cooked, cool it down & add some black salt & pepper powder to it.
    11. Let it cool down and serve with kebabs.
